Addressees are Mr. Kemble, Mrs. Harrison, Walter Rowlands (whom Robert Browning thanks for sending him his poems), Mrs. Howes, and G. Smith. In his letter to Rowlands, Robert Browning mentions "the 'Book'--which is a real one, and exactly what the poem describes"--possibly referring to his poem The Ring and the Book.
